David came into our lives on December 17, 2010. Soon afterwards we found out that David was born with a congenital heart defect known as Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome. This is our place to vent, update, and share the love we have for our son.

David is back in surgery as I type this. Please join us in praying for him as he goes through this scary time!
I'm sure you have very little free time right now, but this blog http://bowensheart.com/ is very powerful. The lead singer of Santus Real has a son born with heart issues. I know it's sometimes helpful to read about other people who have gone through something similar.
